If you spend some time on this forum, you will find lots of threads discussing the movement and distribution of heated air.

How much oil did you burn last season?? 180 gallons of oil is roughly equal to one ton of coal.

I am not exactly sure but it was probably around 600 gallons (which I assume would be equal to just over 3 ton of coal) or so from Nov. 1 into the beginning of May - but that was with a house temp of 67 - 69 most of the time and the wife was freezing and miserable....I believe right now fuel oil is at least $3.80 + per gallon in our area.....while bagged coal is around 280 per ton / bulk around 240 per ton

Hey..just wanted to let those know that offered their opinions...I went to look at the Hyfire II this morning and decided to purchase it....it will arrive by the end of this next week...I am sure I will be in touch...looking for info. and asking questios along the way...thanks agian....
