Hi all,
i am thinking about either the Alaska Stove Company "140 Unit" with 2 feeds.
http://www.alaskastove.com/
or else the Leisure Line "Hyfire II" unit
http://www.leisurelinestoves.com/ HF web page shown here (scroll down)
the only obvious differences I can tell are:
Alaska is heavier (70 lbs), larger hopper (+50 lbs), larger fan (1550 cfm rather than 530), standard hot air jacket, slightly diff dimensions.
The cost is going to run around 4,000-5,000 either way. But with the Hyfire I have to buy a $600 blower fan and filter separate off-setting much of the cost difference.
what I don't know is the difference between the belt mechanism and overall efficiency, heat loss at the unit, etc.
If anyone has anything to contribute, I would really appreciate it.

Do a search, we are already discussing this...
Leisure Line Vs Alaska Stoker...Any Advise?
Also, what about a Keystoker Koker? many have them on here, they are built pretty good with a large blower.
