Hey guys been burning coal for six years now, and the dust is not an issue for me personally. I now have a fiancee and soon wife that is allergic to pretty much everything and has trouble even going into the basement. Im trying to figure out a way i can install an ash removal system that will cut down on the free ash thst happens everytime i pull the ash pan out.

Ash vacuum ... will mitigate best as I can suggest...

PowerSmith PAVC101 10 Amp Ash Vacuum

one example ^

Pull out with vac running...once out, cap it with some Al foil ... free to move about...maybe make a holder for the vac tube once you do it.

Really, I don't see any allergic reaction to ash...
