Do you have a 4" grinder? I'd try a 120 flap disk on it.

Got the grates smooth, reinstalled and re cemented. Removed the fan from the unit and cleaned all the blades with a q tip. Put everything back together and fired it up. I put a magnetic temp gauge on the front door. Only getting 350 degrees. Doesn’t seem hot enough. Still have very weak heat output and fan cycles quite a bit since the stove can’t keep up it seems still. With the feeder screw at 2 turns from maxed out I still have a 3” ash line. I measured the nylon cam and it’s 1-1/2” which is what a new one is so that’s not worn. The pusher bar is not worn where the nylon cam rides. Any ideas? I’m running out of ideas. I’ll attach a picture of the current flame and ash bed

Any luck with getting it to burn hotter? When you have that running at full burn that external thermometer should be cooking! 350 is not that hot. To me it still sounds like a feeder issue. Could your feeder motor be the problem? Just a thought.

I just installed a new feed motor. I saw a post about putting a keystoker 160 feed motor on. It turns faster. I haven’t fired it back up yet since it’s been pretty mild here so I’m just using my wood stoves. But I am going to fire it back up and see what happens

So I decided to fire up the stove this evening. The new feed motor made a huge difference. Temps at the door are 650 degrees after 20mins of running compared to 350 before. Much larger bed of coals and at 4 turns out I was pushing hot coals off so I backed it off a little and we’ll see what that does. But defiantly an improvement.
