Recently replace combustion fan/motor on keystoker 90. Switched to a ball bearing Dayton 1tdn7. I’m only getting an extremely small flame now. The cfm changed from a 60 to a 50. If I didn’t wire up the new one correctly since the were slightly different would that make the fan only run at half power?

Check the direction of rotation. Many motors have a switch that will change the direction of rotation.

That's a 16% decrease so I can see it being noticeable. What was the model number of your old one? Those motors only have 2 wires, right? And it doesn't matter which wire is hot or neutral so how could it be wired wrong?

Definitely running in reverse. But try to figure out how to switch it don’t see a switch. And it being ac motor shouldn’t matter if wires are switched

Dayton lists that blower as non reversible. I don't think any of these blowers are reversible no matter if they're Fasco or Dayton.

Ended up splitting the electric motor and switching the faces. Basically changing polarity. Used this video as a tutorial.
