My highly technical guess would be to start somewhere and then change them until it works. To hell with freezing. I mean how many options are there?

So, in normal use does everything run constantly? Looks like green cord feeds box which feeds everything else. Where is black cord on left going out of the picture?

Green cord is just an extension cord. Cord on left goes to the feeder motor. Cord going up goes to the fan that blows heat into room ( the blower ?). I have changed them numerous times, but their is no air getting into the stove itself to circulate and keep the coal lit. I lit the coal right over the grate holes, but it went out in 5 minutes.

You need feed air and exhaust to make it work. Plug each cord, one at a time into your power cord. There is powered exhaust, correct?

The taped cord got against the stove and melted a few years ago. It still works though. It's the blower cord. yes, there is powered exhaust. I was told by a stove shop that i could plug feeder motor cord and blower cord directly into the wall and that is all i need. but it didn't work

You're talking the cord, right? Looks like a splice to repair the cord to the blower. I'm concerned about the spot on the body that looks like moisture is dripping out. Looks like a rotten spot .

So you know which cord is for the feed air? Or that blower just doesn't work?
