24 f outside
Min 5
Max 20

Ran the stove for a few days with no problem this morning at 6am the CO detector in the living room went off. The bedroom was reading 45 ppm

I shut down the coal stove and switched to oil.
Any ideas?

is your CO detector new?
Check your chimney for any blockages/snow, etc...
check your draft, you should always use a gauge to set it correctly. .02-.04
whats your baro damper setting at? or do you have a power vent?
check all motors, gaskets, etc... and make sure they are working properly
I thought most LL stoves use 6 and 40 on coaltrol

I have 2 CO detectors both were within point of eachother when the living room went off first.

No obstacles in the pipes that I can see.

No power vent

I have a leasure line econo 1 that I bought used to save some money. I thought I read somewhere (maybe on this forum) that the econo 1 should have its max backed off a bit.

I will try 6 and 40 tonight and see what happens.

CO monitors going off due to draft being out of adjustment…Coal trol settings doesn’t fix that!!

With out a manometer to set draft properly your are flying blindfolded.
