Hot Air Coal Stoker Furnace: keystoker A150
Coal Size/Type: rice

Post by Ken3180 » Mon. Nov. 14, 2022 3:53 pm

started my Keystoker A150 Furnace day before yesterday. Blower never kicked on, melted the air filter, which happens to be in the cold air return. Changed the Limit switch. RE-Lit, same thing. scares me that the filter would get that hot. do you think the gasket between the heat exchanger and where the fire burns has gone bad?? had the stove several years, never an issue. no other heat source and it's getting mighty chilly here in upstate NY

Chances are the blower has a centrifugal start type motor. You may need to replace it.
