Hi,
I hope this thread helps someone. When I was looking for a hybrid car for my wife there weren't any to be found in NY so I started to call around to other states and eventually located one. If you can't find a stove or coal applicance your best bet is to call around and either pick up the appliance yourself or have it shipped. Many times you can ship to a teminal and then pick it up your self and this will save u dollars too. If Richard allows it maybe we can post info. on stoves that are being listed on Ebay, Craigs list and the local papers so members can look in this thread to help them find their stove for this coming winter.

Alaska Stoves: No dealer info listed ask for a list: Phone: (570)387-0260
Keystoker: No dealer info listed ask for a list: Phone: (570) 385-3873
Add any companies I missed. I believe Vermont Castings sells a manual stove too ad does Hitzer.
Also, Ebay is a good source. Last week I saw several stoves being listed and today I found two popular brands. You can do a search for coal stove and then save that search. If an item is listed that has the words Coal Stove in the listing the site will email you that these new listings exist.
Good luck and don't give up.

Nice post Trader. I would like to see in each forum a locked thread at the top that has pictures of each stove available (stoker or hand fired in their own forum) along with the name of it who makes it and extra information that people feel should go along with each stove. Maybe like who owns which model and each have their own rating along with pros and cons for their stove that they have now or have had in the past.
I would even like it for the chimney section and coal section, who's making them and what's available for people to use and what people recommend.

- Stoker Coal Boiler: want AA130
- Hand Fed Coal Stove: DS Machine BS#4, Harman MKII, Hitzer 503,...
- Coal Size/Type: Pea/Nut/Stove
That is what the KB would be good for.
