Good day;

I’m in the process of selling my harmon coal stove. Can anyone give me any info or how much this thing is worth? I don’t know much about it. Also, in your opinion, is it worth keeping as a backup source of heat? Just had central installed. I would only use coal as a backup, worth keeping or selling?

With prices where they are on heating fuels, you may want to hold off til you start heating in the fall to make that decision.

If you decide to wait and keep it, good for you, if you decide to wait and sell it, you could likely get more for it closer to cold weather than now. It's summer, people still think heating oil and other sources are going to come down. You also might find a friend or loved on in the meantime who could use it more than just a stranger. Just my $.02
