Vertiflow or carpet stoker ??

Not sure if I should make a separate thread or just continue..
Modified the air channel under the grate.. some cutting and TIG later.

Got a little further with DC driven gearboxes.
Still have to find a better blower.

How did you determine the angle to set the grates at?

I kept the angles the same as in the original Alaska stoker..essential I just extended the the sheet metal in front of the grate to accommodate the double back wall and the additional ceramic tiles the Harman uses..

Hope to have some coal left to do a test run after I get the combustion fan worked out.
