Efm and Hot water

Stoker Coal Boiler: efm coal with barrel

My bath water STARTS out warm and almost immediately gets cold. Nothing on the unit is leaking whats up with that?

Tell us about your EFM and the water coil in it. How is your domestic hot water plumbed?

Is this happening at each faucet? If it’s not then I bet the cartridge in the tub/shower has gone bad.

I'm wondering if the coil needs descaling or if the mixing valve is bad that's why I was asking for more history and details..

I'd be curious about the aquastat setting(s) and the mixing/tempering valve (if any).
