stack temp high limit

I just got a keystoker and was wondering what the function of this is it is mounted in the stack comming out of the stove. It was wired in parelle with the t-stat.

I think some of the older ones had that to maintain a min. draft or room temp or something? The newer ones only have a thermostat.
Does it have an idle timer also? to maintain min. burn when not calling for heat?
Maybe post a pic of the stove and any other items on it.
I have a newer 90K keystoker, it doens't have the flue temp switch. just idle timer and thermostat.
