Hello. I’ve had this stove over 4 years now. It was acting up. I replaced the combustion blower, it was noisy. Half the squirrel cage was rusted away.
Replaced circuit board. The pin block has #5 switched up the rat are down
Everything runs in test mode now but in regular mode status flashes 5 times. According to manual TSP is malfunctioning. So it won’t allow the combustion blower to work. I use the stove in stove temp mode, no thermostat.
I can’t seem to find the TSP probe anywhere. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you mean the ESP probe? If so, I see black wire (older models) and red wire (newer) on eBay for around $20. Stove stores have them too, but for much more... Just search for DVC500 on eBay

No it’s actually a yellow wire and us mounted just above the fines tray in back of stove.

I've only seen discussions concerning the black and red wire probes... Too bad it's not the ESP. That would have been an easy fix. Good luck with the repair.

Hello, if you put the old board back in will the combustion blower work ? If not I would start with replacing the TCP probe, if the stove still has the same issue the new board may not be working correctly ? Good Luck and let us know

Hmm, different boards, and different color probes…seems confusing for sure.
Should the “new” board now require a “new” manual???

Hey thanks for the help so far. I’m gonna try the old board and see what happens. And yes this has the black wire esp sensor also. But the one for the 5 status blinks is the yellow one according to manual. I’m guessing this stove is from about 2002. The rest of the stove is in great shape. Just need it to function lol

Installed old board. Guess I didn’t need old board. Now it works fine. Now to try and send board back
New combustion blower working great. Seems to be burning much better
Fingers crossed
Thanks again
