Hot Air Coal Stoker Furnace: Hitzer 710
Coal Size/Type: Rice

Post by Donz » Sun. Oct. 31, 2021 8:02 am

Hi, I'm about to receice a Hitzer 701 I'll be using as a supplement (or primary, I hope) to my gas furnace.

Does, pea, nut, and rice refer to a size and is there one or the other I should be using?

Thank you

Couldn't find a 701 but they do make a 710 stoker. That would use rice coal.

Welcome. I think you mean Hitzer 710 - I have never heard of a 701. The 710 stoker furnace burns rice size coal.

What is your setup? Or maybe I should say how will things be configured? Finish your profile is case people near you find sales or have parts etc. Don't have to put your street address or anything. Like FF says, ain't nobody gonna steal ya.

Way,

Thank you for that. It's going in basement and will have a power vent because there's no chimney and not practical to add one.
