I got the board directly from legacy who owns Harman now. It doesn’t seem like it’s stuck in test mode on test mode it acts different and the distribution blower blows hard then slows down or goes off like it should every few seconds and in regular run the distribution blower has a dim light which I read is normal depending on what the stove is calling for. I did order a new feeder fork because after bending mine in it was clunking when it was feeding and skipping on the bearing hoping that will resolve it.

I ran a harman DVC for years, best direct vent stove ever.

Did you clean try taking out the pusher car, and cleaning around the pusher bar, and cleaning the fines tray.

Once you get this sorted you will be happy, DVC is one of the best hands down.

I would ensure you have enough draft, ie a clear exhaust, clean and test the pusher bar motor/assembly

I did have the feeder motor off and tested it on the bench and it ran fine was getting the amps that it said it was supposed to be pulling on the bench. I took the pusher bar off itself and used a wire wheel to clean that up and it looks brand new now. The exhaust was clean but I double checked it last night again as well as the exhaust fan and still no changes. I’m wondering if it can be as simple as an air leak somewhere?

I took the grates back out and the grate holder I’m going to get a new rope gasket for that as well as take every motor and fan to an electric motor shop near me for servicing.

A couple tech questions on the combustion blower is this normal just doesn’t seem right that it would only mount with two 3/8 bolts and large washers the bolts don’t actually go though it just the washers hold it up and nothing in the side part where the round circle part of the combustion blower go I would think it should be tighter?

I got a bed feeder fork assembly and had the whole plate motor and fan taken to a electric shop and gone through and serviced now the cam will not ride on the work I can’t get it to line up with the bolt holes and the cam to ride on the fork the whole assembly catches and doesn’t move.

Might you have to make proper adjustments on the gear motor shaft for optimum alignment?

It doesn’t look like there is any adjustment to make I did mess with it and that’s the farthest I can get it over because there is a set screw on the top of the cam that goes through the gear motor assembly so there is no where else that can move. I’m wondering if the fork is off and not welded in the exact right spot

I may have found the issue to but have not fired it up yet. From reading another 15 page discussion on a Harman dvc they flue gasket is sized different and will go on both ways but is only supposed to be installed one way so I have a new one coming today to try. But I think the main issue was I took all motors to a service shop and my combustion blower was installed backwards and turning the wrong way. So that is fixed now too

Great that combustion fan rotation error was discovered!

Since you say that you cannot adjust bearing bar how about if you might flip it over. That would offset it differently into the fork???

So I have everything all back up running with all the new parts and it appears to be working great so far.

What settings are good settings to run it at? Is stove temp or room temp the best?
