Coming up on the new season and new to this stoker thing after last years issues. I had keystoker rebuild my plates which were burned out and the door gaskets all figured out. I supply electrical parts and wire to keystoker through my job. They are very local to me about 2 miles from my work. They are great people. Found out my unit is from 1993!

I do have one question though. How do I go about "moving" the unit and making it solid. I have it on a tile heart and on there is a piece of the black coated fireproof board from a wood stove. But I am not quiet center with the thimble through the wall. I would like to move it over a quarter in but I was wondering if there was an easy way to do this buy using some lumber and a floor jack. I am level as can be and I put shims under the fiber board so it doesnt wobble and shake but the off center is driving me nuts. Luckily and adjustable elbow makes up for this

Floor jack with wheels and piece of wood where it contacts stove should move it easily, but a quarter inch you might be able to just skid it over.

Just get a 2x4 about 5' long. Put it under the stove and gently walk it over using the board as leverage.

That is what I was thinking. It would not bother me as much if I hadn't just remodeled the whole room.

Tip it up, put a 3/4" pipe under the leading edge and "roll" it that little bit.

I moved my kaa-4 boiler across the basement by myself. An inch should be easy!

I don't think that will work because the 90's have steel legs on each corner.

Oh, I wasn't aware they had legs... You'd have to use a small piece of plywood to span the legs before you slid a pipe under it. Might not be worth it to just move it an inch. The 2x4 with brute Force method would be faster.
