Direct Vent Stove Piping

I recently had to take down my chimney for a new foundation on my house. The guy at Leisureline recommended that I purchase the direct vent motor for the AK-110 that it will be used for. The problem that I have is that I am having a hard time figuring out where to buy the 4 inch direct vent line that will be needed. The direct vent blower goes from 6 inch on the inlet and is reduced to 4 inch on the outlet. Also, I know that the line needs to be sealed due to it using positive draft to evacuate the gases. That being said I'm not 100% on what pipe to even use. I'll lean on all of you guy's expertise to guide me on what to buy and where from.

The piping will need elbowed unless there is a semi rigid option.

Just an idea…pellet stoves commonly use 4” flues with pressured exhaust and every joint has seals.
Just keep in mind that whatever you use is rated for coal,

Another thought is that the more 6” flue you run will make for the 4” pressurized run shorter…but do follow mfgr installation guidelines.

I went with the pellet like you had recommended, and it worked out really well. The direct vent is definitely not as good as a chimney, but it works well enough. It needs shut down and cleaned out with a brush at least three times a year though. I'll post photos for anyone with the same issue.

Not unless this direct vent takes a crap after only a couple seasons.
