Bought home with a radiant hot air rice coal stoker. Thing is old. It has no identifying marks other than a patent number for the fan/stoker and instructions written in sharpie on it. No one local to me will come and look or service this thing. Heats the 2100 sq ft home just fine—until the original j-rod broke and unfortunately the “rigged” replacement isn’t working.
I’m attaching pics. I’d love help identifying the stove, and knowledge of what the part is and how to order a new one. (People keep telling me they will install a new stove. This one works fine if I can get my hands on that part! I just need the j-rod but recognize that I may have to purchase the entire stoker part.)
Help! Please help!
Need a replacement part. Little info to go on.
Looks like my reading stoker stove part.
Call them, I have seen that part in the shop.

That stoker looks like an Alaska. It looks a lot like my Alaska stoker II.

Guess $25 isn't bad. I make my own, nothing but a long 1/4-20 bolt with the head bent to an approx. 90 degree angle. Made the last one from 1/4-28 to give a "finer" adjustment. Hard to tell how much difference it makes but it works well. I always have a spare on hand along with every other "wear" part on the stove so I'm never left with much down time.
