My stove has been acting odd, when it called for heat it would feed coal until it was 6 degrees over the setpoint. Found out there is 2 holes in the thermostat, top and bottom. took my air hose and at 30lb of pressure blew air in both holes for maybe 1 minute each side, Its great now. Sooner or later this will happen to your stove so now you know how to fix it.

Good Luck, Stant

OK, sometimes it takes a while to settle out, don't adjust more than a degree or two, it will overshoot trying to catch up if you make large temp. adjustments. I never use the setback, just leave it at a set temperature or increase it 1 degree at a time. :)
