Newly installed Leisureline AK-110

I just finished the install for my Leisureline AK-110, and couldn't be happier. I ran it for a few days to test the old girl out. It ran really pretty good. The only issue that I had was the condensation under the hopper lid while idling. From what all that I've read on here I can tell that it would be a draft issue. I shut it down and ordered a dwyer mark 2 nanometer that I'm waiting on currently. I thought that I'd be able to get away with just setting the Fields RC baro at .04 would be enough, but with the stovepipe at an angle it probably throws it off a bit. Either way once I get the manometer I should be able to get the draft set to the proper setting and hope to be good to go.

Full disclosure with the baro setup I just eye balled it when I first set it up. I'll be taking a level to it and adjusting it by the readings on the manometer once I get it in. There is one thing that I'm curious about though. In the owners manual it says that a possible solution for moisture under the lid could be adjusting the combustion fan block off plate if the weather is warm. When I noticed the condensation under the lid the weather outside was in fact warming up. So my question is when it warms up for say a few days should i close that block off some. And if so, how much?

Also, there was no sulfer smell this whole time testing it.

By all means if there is something sticking out to any of you pros out there on the pictures that has to do with the stove setup let me know. I am certainly humble enough to take good advise from knowledgeable people. Besides the cold air return out the back of course. I already tested it out and the fan doesnt starve.

Looks good, My sister had same problem, It was from putting cold coal in the hopper, when she used warm coal it went away.

Condensation on the hopper lid is normally an indication that the draft is incorrect.

Damp coal coming out of bags probably adds to the condensation too...

Roughly 1,800 sq. Ft. and subsequently the full basement as well. The burning season has just started for me, and it is still in the 40s-50s range here during the day and 30s-40s at night currently. My guess is that this stove will more than heat this old non insulated house with mostly single pane windows.

That is true that it is a draft issue. My manometer will be here in two days, so I can tweak out the setting then. I just started the stove up again today after having it off for a week because of a warm spell. I'm not far off on the draft I do know bc I'm only getting condensation when it just idles all day. In the instruction manual it says on warm days to use the block on the combustion motor. If I run into that issue again then I'll try that out.

And yes, the coal was a bit damp. Someone on another thread said that he burns with the lid off because of the condensation. That threw so many red flags up for me that I ordered my manometer right then and there. I dont like being out of the know on things, so once I get the manometer setup and my draft buttoned down then i can eliminate draft out of the equation. Honestly, I think that the condensation will go away when it gets colder, or when burning in warmer climates blocking the combustion fan a bit.

I got the Dwyer Mark 2 manometer in but then realized that it doesnt come with the probe. Needless to say it'll be a few days till that gets in. The condensation is gone from the last time I adjusted the baro. That or the fact that it is colder. The only thing that I see that I could say about it that is slightly negative is that I get quite a bit of fly ash in the firebox. That is an easy fix though.
