Brake line or copper tube pushed through a hole in the load door or stove pipe works well.

32*F outside and the house is set at 76*F and the furnace is very easily keeping it to temperature. Mind you I dont have a whole lot of vents setup yet, so that is why it is set to 76*F. The other rooms are hovering at cooler than that. Very pleased so far.

Until I get more vents run off than the six current ones I'm wanting it to hover around 70-72 in the house. Having the center room at 76 gets me that. Everyone is currently pleased with the setup, but I'll be adding additional vents to the other rooms and bringing the thermostat down to where it needs to be.

Sorry for the long hiatus, there have been a lot of changes. I had a new foundation put onto the house and the chimney had to come down. So now I am installing a direct vent system onto the furnace that was recommended by the guy at Leisureline. I really wished to keep the chiney that I just installed a new liner in but the walls in the basement were crap. I have all that I need to start the furnace back up again besides the direct vent line. Does anyone know what specifically the 4 inch line for a coal direct vent is called and where online I can purchase it?

Its been awhile since I've been on the forum...But will share my experience with moisture under the hopper lid if you're still having issues. The AK110 will idle as low as 4 on the coal trol. I found this was too low to keep enough heat in the chimney to get good draft when it warmed up outside...So moisture would form. I upped the idle setting to 6 and still got moisture, but temps had to get above 60....Setting the idle to 8 pretty much solved the issue. Although on the warmer days, I just cover the baro with aluminum foil and forget about it till temps start dropping.

I've had the new direct vent aystem up and running for a few weeks now and have had zero problems. I used the duravent pellet pro pipes and had zero issues with it besides the price. The constant draft has solved the moisture under the lid issue as well, so we're good to go for the Winter...
