Kwatt hours came to 16556, so x 3412 = 56,489,072 so / 26,000,000 = 2.2 ton + 1.6 ton = 3.8 which sounds about right from the estimates. 3.8 x 214 = $813.2 for 6 months of burn. In conclusion, $2684.85 - $834.6 a savings of $1850.25 over 6 months. yow. Granted, the savings won't be that great because my electric isn't just for heat over that time span, and I probably won't be able to heat the 1st floor totaly so I would say though, $1000.00 to $1400.00 wouldn't be that far out.

As for the electric, do you know how many kilowatt hours you used for heat? Assume 3,412 btus per kilowatt hour electric heat and go from there. I think you will find that the savings with coal are substantial.
