Hot Air Coal Stoker Stove: Harman Magnum
Coal Size/Type: rice

I have a 2007 Harman Magnum Stoker that I am putting a new glass in. I have the glass and flat gasket, my question is where is the right place too put the gasket ?, on the main door where the bolts go thru or on the piece that the bolts screw into, ( I think they call it the window trim) and also the clips. I do know that it only goes on vertical side of glass. I have a feeling it was not right from new.

Second question is what asbestos rope size for doors, 3/8" or 1/2 " I have seen some say either or. Just trying to do it right. Owners manual gives no directions for replacing things, or dimensions

I fold the flat gasket over the edge of the glass on mine so it seats on both surfaces.

I believe 3/8" is too small for the door gasket. I use either 1/2" or 5/8" stretched to "thin" it on a loose door.
