Chef here, wanting to heat a basement of 1200sq ft and the upstairs of a modular home of 1500sq ft.so,2700sq ft. i was thinking of whatever stove downstairs (family room). and tying into existing central heat duct with a 24"x24"drop ceiling return air
register with a 6"variable speed fan.to heat upstairs. i would like to hear the way others do it in this situation. type of stove,
and getting heat to second floor. all info is welcomed.

The btu's of a stoker-type stove are a subject of debate. Of the two options you gave, go with the 105 as it's a double-wall unit which will give you more control of where you want the heat.
