From the pics, you are checking the draft through the ash door...
It sounds like your direct vent needs to be adjusted... It seems to be pulling too much draft. I don't have direct draft, but I believe you have to put a manometer in the stovepipe first to adjust the direct vent (around -.05), and then move the Mano to the ash door to set the over fire draft to between -.02 and -.03
You must have a full fire (stoker firing for 30 to 45 minutes) to set over fire draft.

Check the weight, make sure it is on the correct side for horizontal or vertical position of the pipe it is installed in, that will affect the adjustment. and make sure it's perfectly level too.
I have mine at .04 all the time, but have no baro damper, didn't have one from the factory on my Keystoker 90. there is an adjustment plate with a T-handle on the power venter that can be adjusted for the proper draft on the stove along with you baro damper.

The baro should be closed when running, Its mainly for windy days so the fire dont go out from the wind sucking more air through the fire. INHO the manometer should be .02 at idle. That is what works for my stove. When its cold it goes as high as .05.
Seems to me you have the min set to low.
Good luck. stant

I'm having low heat problems with my keystoker - think it's ash under grate. I cleaned it out by
removing motor at back but didn't seem to get much coming through plastic tubes. Is there any
way to do a better job from the back? Lots of stove cement on top of grate - likely hard to remove.k
Fire on grate only about 3" across. Ideas for best way to proceed. Thanks!

I just stick my shop vac hose/wand in the hole after taking off the combustion motor. You miss a little on the back left side, but I get 95% of it just with the vacuum.

Have you ever cleaned the holes in the grate? Keystoker recommends using an 1/8" punch or drill bit to clean every hole once per year ...
