Hello,

My harman magnum is about 27 years old and usually reliable. The stoker is not moving. I cleaned everything out of the firebox and hopper and still nothing. I can manually move it forward and back freely. The on timer is set to 5 minutes and the fork is the correct distance between tines. I'm not sure what else could be causing the issue.

Does the gear motor run if you plug it into an extension cord? If so your control box may be defective. They are pricey.

Some basic ?'s ....
Is the power light on the controller lit? Do the blowers work as expected for the on / off timer settings? As CK asked....is the stoker motor operating when plugged into the controller and the pusher block not moving or is the stoker motor not running? Does the stoker motor run when plugged directly to a wall outlet?

The gear motor runs but sounds a little off. The power light is on and the blowers match the timer settings. The feed bar has been running intermittently now. It seems like every few hours it needs a tap and then it'll work for a bit.

Sounds like its time to replace that stoker motor. You can put a few drips of oil in the ports and that may get you some more life out of it, but I'd be ordering a replacement.

Yeah, today the motor only worked after I manually moved the feed bar a few times to turn it over.

Thank you for the part number. The manual just says "feed motor"
