Hi all, i am having some trouble here. I have an alaska channing that I am trying to get installed. I need to install a fume switch since I will be power venting it. I bought a fields wmo-1 as was recommended on the forum here. Well it is wrong. It needs to have a 5/8" thread at the end of the nipple on the fume switch and mine is not threaded. What is going on here? Is there another fitting i need to put on the end of the nipple?

doing a google and ebay search, looks like a couple different versions of this switch. Some have the flange mount which you can just put a few sheet metal screws to hold it and others have the 5/8" threaded nipple mount.

if you don't want to drill a hole in the stove, mount it in the stove pipe as close to the stove as possible.

I ended up buying a used fume switch with the correct nipple on it. When it comes in the mail i will just rob the nipple and keep the switch as a spare.
