Just a quick poll question to find out what everyone's requirement are for heating their home. If you have additional requirements like a garage, pool, hot tub, etc please feel free to break it down. I am just trying to get a feel for the average need.
My home requires 60k btu/h
My garage requires another 24K btu/h

My 115k BTU oil boiler will keep the house comfortable, but will run nearly constantly on the cold/windy days. The oil boiler does not heat the basement, it takes another 30k BTU or so to keep the basement warm. I now heat the basement and first floor of the house with a 90k BTU coal stove.
My 92K oilburner fires 2 heating zones and a Phase III DHW , so I went with a KA-6, as the smallest full sized Keystoker (and it was available).
I have a 1800 sq. ft. of living space of modern (mid-80's) construction, with 700 sq. ft. of unoccupied (when I'm not reloading) basement.
