Kinda ran into to this by accident. Wife and I where watching tv the other nite and wanted to cut back the noise from the convection blower on our 105 keystoker. Well I forgot to set it back to auto when we went to bed that evening. I noticed that not only is the stove quiteter but it seems to be keeping the house warmer as in the air coming off the stove and moving around is not as cool. The fire rate has bumped up a little to keep the thermostat happy with the decreased air flow....hence warmer air? I have the added 6 inch port on top of the stove with pipe and a tee to help direct air flow. Have my convection blower set around 20.

Yes, i do that all the time when it's not real cold out to keep the stove washed of heat especially when it's idling. its gets pretty warm just on idle since I have a heat jacket on it and yes with the air moving all the time, it feels warmer.
