Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum and I am seeking advise, on smaller stoves.

It seems everywhere I look, everyone is selling wood fireplaces, and not really coal fireplaces. It is kinda hard to really find a new coal / small fire place for smaller areas. I am opting for burning coal ( anthracite ) for obvious reasons, but i don't know why folks don't burn coal more often instead of wood?

Is it because coal has gotten a bad wrap? Or just that society has not re-visited the coal burning process?

Anyway, I need advise as to what stove to purchase for a small 300 sqf room? I don't need a furnace, it is not going to be my primary source of heat, etc.. just want to heat smaller space.

Thank you in advance for your advise.

Cheers !

Here is a nice little stove that could sit in front of your fireplace, and be piped into fireplace opening.

A hard to find Glenwood 112 with back pipe.

Everyone has it's bigger brother......

It has the wrong statue on top, which should make price cheaper.

Just a screen shot. Marketplace, Massachusetts, pot belly stove, search.

Here is our Fatsco Midget.
It heats our 14'×20' 280sf, leaky, poorly insulated "Boat", the hull is a concrete slab that floats atop the earth. This stove routinely burns 8 hours untended
It is a "Boat Stove".
It is not U.L. Listed.
Here is the contact Information:
