Removing a coal furnace
I am interested in seeing the anyone has experience dismantling and removing a coal furnace. We have a home with a Crane-Line coal furnace Model 437-220. It was auger fed and forced air. We are interested in removing it from the home and are curious to see if anyone has advice on removal.

It would be useful if you post your location and some pics of the appliance. I'm willing to wager someone here would be able to remove it for you.

Welcome to the forum,
A lot of people on this forum have experience removing old iron from basements. Pictures work best because even though you have listed the furnace info, hardly anyone in the world knows what all of these things look like which might make people reluctant to offer advice. A couple pictures might jog someone's memory.
My normal approach is to take it apart into manageable sections to make it easier to move out of the basement. But this takes a certain amount of time and fineness.
