Hey everyone.new guy from WNY. Running a keystoker90DV with a steady diet of Lehigh Rice from Higbi’s in Spencerport NY.

Ive been running my stove manually w/o a t-stat for 3 years as a primary heat source for a 2300sq home.
Stove is in an open basement, dead center of building, top vent tied into my old oil ductwork and using the stairwell as a cold air return.
I can usually maintain 72 with simple feeder screw adjustments and combustion blower restrictor plate tweaking. Sometimes I wake up to a 65deg house if I’m not right on top of my adjustments, other times me and my sons walk around in our underwear in a 78deg house.
When I acquired my stove (ask about how I got a k90 for FREE) the timer and t-stat feature was bypassed and missing. I had such overwhelming success (read: too much heat for the garage) in the garage I moved it downstairs in the basement, tore out the stinky oil furnace and haven’t looked back.

My reason for joining is that I’d like to put automated controls on it. Being 2019 and all, id like to put a digital PLC or something comparable on.
Figured you coal pros could point me I. The right direction.
