What do you use your coal ashes for ?? I myself have used them on my gravel driveway (on the hill) for traction when it got icy ! Used some to get a stuck car out of the snow !

I put them out on the curb for pickup... The city picks them up every week. They mix them with salt and use them on the roads.

Well after 35 years of filling low spots and holes, it now has its own bag line trash can and goes out with the rest of the garbage.

I am making an ash mountain in the backyard. I expect that eventually I will have some kind of excavation project that needs clean fill.

Can you use the ash to fill low spots in the grass?

that’s exactly what they did when everyone burned coal and put the ashes out, any extra ash I just dump down the hill next to my land !

I’m filling a low wet spot in the lawn behind the garage and near the pond. In the spring I’ll pick out anything sitting on top that looks like it still has a few BTUs in it just because. Then I’ll level and cover with top soil and seed.

I spread mine in my driveway, spread two full trash cans a couple of weeks ago,
I've got one and half ready to go, I don't use them close to the house where
they would get tracked in, once was enough.

Loading and then dump into the sander

I put them right in my garden. Loosens up the clayish soil and adds acidity to it. An old neighbor had his entire garden just ash. The amount of cukes and tomatoes was amazing with few plants.
