I recently bought a fixer-upper house to try hand at flipping, (after a long layoff). In the living room there is an Alaska Stoker Stove Heater, which I have examined for info on model, etc, but only a serial number is listed. I found the Alaska website and it says that if it has an auger feed I can burn any kind of pellet, but if standard, I can only burn coal. It needs cleaned, and has coal pellets left from the prior occupant. I would like to switch to wood pellets, but have not been able to determine if this model has the auger feeder or a standard feed. Any assistance would be appreciated.
