I bought a pile of gaskets from Alaska company for the Channing 2. Where do they go? When I bought my stove the guy helped me load it taking pieces off to make it light to pick up. What gaskets it had fell off out and now there gone.

Got my answer - from eBay ! Apparently the wire gasket and the other flat gasket go under the grate.
Got some pics taking it apart, cleaning it up and adding some custom convection tubes.
Hopefully going to get it lite this weekend.

More pictures please. Can't see on the "assembled" picture where the convection tubes exit. Also, what is that part you are drilling all the holes in?

The part I was drilling the holes in was the grate. I was running the drill bit through all the holes to clean them out. A couple of the holes toward the back of the stove were plugged up solid and once I got through the bit grabbed and twisted.

Got her fired up tonight. It's been rocking for about 2 hours now. I had the big furnace running for about 3 hours to start to get the chill of. It is 15 degrees outside and 50 inside the garage. Im thinking by morning it hopefully will be around 65. This building is a big steel building that is insulated with foam board and doesn't keep heat well. Overall I think I'll be happy with this stoker.
The convection tube do work and they work awesome! Before you could feel the box getting up to temp you could feel some good heat coming out the tubes.
The coffee can coal fire starting technique works awesome !!!
