Anyone on here have any insight on the LL Lil Heater? I’m looking this week at a used unit with a coal trol. Owner also said he may have a direct vent to go with the unit. I’d like to use it as a supplement to my propane furnace in a living room. It looks small enough to not take up much space but enough btu’s to save me a bunch on propane. Owner is asking $600.

I have had a LL Lil Heater for 5 years now and have no problems. They are rated for 70,000 BTUs, but if you drill the the 3 additional rows of dimples on the carpet you can increase the BTUs to 90,000. Mine does have the coaltrol and it works great. I don't have a direct vent, I have it connected to a masonry chimney. Just check to see it is not rusted out and check to see that the motors work, but $600 is not a bad price.

If everything works, sounds like a decent deal. As stated above, the LL stoves are good stoves. Not sure where in WNY you are, but if you need a hand, we're always willing to help each other out.
