No furnaces available? Time to go grab one of these.

Put an inexpensive water to air heat exchanger in your ductwork and your problem is solved. You will also get the benefit of being able to heat you domestic water.

I currently have an oil furnace. I've seen the rice coal furnaces with oil backup. I'd like one of those so I can keep my oil tanks and lines in place. Plus, it would be nice to have the oil as a backup for when I travel for extended periods of time in the winter.
I have a 1700 sq ft home, so i'm not sure what that translates to for BTU requirements. Most of the furnaces that I've seen are 150,000 BTU or more. I'm sure that would be plenty.

Here's a small used one. Not sure the model, but it is Keystoker.

A-80 or A-120, I'd say the A-80 for a guess. ;)
