What is available for a hot air stoker furnace. I have a small liesure line stove that I want to upgrade to a furnace with a complete ductwork furnace. My only limitation is it must be hopper feed system. I dont have room for an auger system.

Keystoker also makes true furnaces in a range of sizes. Details on their website.

How much radiant heat do you get out of a Koker? I have a wood stove right now and it does a great job. I’m thinking about switching to the Koker 160 just worried I won’t be able to keep the house as warm.

Koker 160 will out perform a wood stove with steady heat all day long and easy to maintain

My LL AK180 does a great job and I am happy with it. Very efficient. I fail to understand why it does not get more press. The heat exchange system is way better than the Koker or AF and is simple to service.

Here it is just heating on one side where it is most efficient in this weather (sorry about the focus, I am to lazy to reshoot this). 26 sq ft of heat exchange and that is unequaled. It is just a much more advanced design and robotic welding makes this design possible at a reasonable cost.. They need better marketing that is for sure. Phil, be aware that my coal heating choices are often viewed as unusual. I include a video of an EFM user getting ready to install his heating system. Some even use hydronics to heat the pool. :D

Damn, I forgot. I sometimes make myself laugh so much I lose it. I do not know the btu requirements of your home but remember poster mattues (do I have that right guys?) knew of a used AK 110 for $2500 somewhere up your way. Same stove one sided only and of course a reduced output. Another consideration for you to mull over.

I want a furnace. I already have a stove. I want to be able to control where and when the heat goes.

Phil, you fail to understand, the AK series is a warm air furnace driven by a 1800cfm distribution fan like the EFM AF that has a 22" outlet for ducting. Is that not what you were looking for?

Thx Mike but he is one of the EFM mavens .. I have looked it up it was definitely Matthaus (an officer in LL) and the ad was somewhere up in N NYS. Of course, the stove may well have been sold by now as it was a few weeks ago.

Phil, look on the LL site. The AK series are 110k, 180k and 220k. All Leisureline stoves and all similar in design and all controlled by coaltrol .... very sophisticated.

for example
