Had my pocono prob 7 years now never had a problem, today for no known reason the fire seems to be burning further back than normal, same coal from start of season, no adjustments done, I've bumped up the low feed rate up 2 (think it's on 7or 8 now) . The temp on stove is colder than normal causing me to have a poor draft ,sweat in hopper, along with low reading on gauge. Anything I can look for or check?

Sweat in hopper ( I am assuming on the underside of the hopper lid) means exhaust is going that way instead of the chimney. Check the flue pipes for fly ash, if chimney has a clean out check the door is closed properly, if you have a power vent its time to clean it. Keep an eye on your CO monitor.

The condensation is from the small fire it now has, I'm not sure why its smaller now though. Nothing has changed. Its almost like the feeder isnt running correctly. But I dont know how to check it.

As it may be but first clean out the squirrel cage with a toothbrush. Dirt there really messes up air flow. Then go onto Utube to the LL site and learn to lubricate both holes in the motor including the hidden one. Shaded pole motors do die but check these things first.

Someone else also suggested this, I'm gonna pull the feeder to clean and oil it again and change those. Do you know that size the gasket is?

Glad it's firing correctly again!!

And thanks for following up with the resolution. Too many times threads are left hanging and I always wonder what the root problem was.
