Hot Air Coal Stoker Stove: Leisure Line Hyfire

It's with a heavy heart that I must say goodbye to coal. The reason you ask? Moving to Colorado and I don't see it being economically feasible to burn anthracite out there. The Leasure Line Hyfire is staying with the house and will be inherited by the new owner.

That being said, I probably won't have a need to sign in and bug you guys anymore. Just wanted to thank everyone on this forum for being awesome and providing advice over the years.

Keep burnin'

Brandon

Moving for a new job but also just to try something different. I ve lived in PA my whole life and always wanted to live out west. It was now or never. My wife will be moving away from her mother for the first time. It'll be a big change for my family but our only regret would be not trying it. We can always move back if it doesn't work out.

Good luck. Sounds like it will be an adventure.

Good luck! I did the same, not for a job but for the weather when I moved from Maine to Tenn. I miss some things, but I moved for the weather........ I was old enough to know better and young enough to try....

Thats a far move... milage wise.. wife will miss the mother and friends. Hopefully many trips back east will help. I was in Colorado this fall so nice.. lots' to do there..year round.
I moved from a lifetime on cape cod to nh only 4hrs ride and it was a shock as I lost my business work. Still 4 hrs is a long ride many times if your forced to go cause of this or that. I gained business back not long after thanks to google ads and websites. If I had plenty of jobs here I would be so happy but I have to travel back and forth to Cape Cod .. I wish I could of done it (the move) many years ago. Now 13 yrs later it's home.

I've always liked the finger lakes area of western NY. Kind of like the 4 seasons, and everything about it, EXCEPT working in the snow. I like the snow; just tired of working in it. If I were to move, I don't think it'd be too far from where I'm at.

Anyways, Good luck to you, and your family. :)
