Hot Air Coal Stoker Stove: keystoker econo 90
Coal Size/Type: rice

Post by lamina1982 » Wed. Sep. 12, 2018 9:56 pm

Just picked this up tonight, kinda felt like i stole it at only 50$ off cl. Definitely needs som cleaning, new gaskets and prob just put steel where the glass was supposed to be on door. Its a direct vent too!
Sure is heavy.
My other is a keystoker 90.

So what model is this?
On keystoker badge it says 9141. Serial # is 5444. Im guessing its older.
Whats the best way to setup the direct vent and what will i need pipewise?
Is a basement setup possible?

good find!
Looks like a 90K keystoker. Same as what I have for past 15+ years. The grates may have a bolt/Screw in them, and make sure you SEAL them good when you put them back in to avoid back burn and melting the pusher cam which is nylon. pull the pusher plate out (after dropping the stoker motor, make sure you oil all the blowers and gaskets and glass are all available for it thru Keystoker. Shouldnt' take much to get it back up and running!! questions, just ask.

Also can you use 5/8 rope gasket material for doors or does it have to be 3/4?
Seems 5/8 easier to find off the shelf

If that is mounted in the hot air jacket it is a fan/limit, but the other should of had that.

So, if it is mounted into the fire box it could be the WMO-1 or called a "fume switch" used as a safety to "kill the burner power" if it detects the stove's exhaust (direct or power) venter has failed...without it the stove exhaust would continue to be pumped and overflow into the stove room/area with poisonous Carbon Monoxide gas.

Bad news for unsuspecting humans and/or their captive pets.
