Hot Air Coal Stoker Furnace: Keystoker Koker 160

Post by SyrKoker » Mon. Feb. 26, 2018 6:33 pm

Hey folks,

New to the forum and I have a question. I recently purchased a Koker 160 that I am adding a direct vent setup to. Part of adding the DV is installing a fume switch. Would someone be able to measure the location of theirs and pass it along? Also curious how other folks have added the fume switch on stoves not originally equipped.

Thanks in advance for your time,

Nate

Welcome to the Forum :D

Is it the Keystoker made Direct Vent that you are adding?

Can't measure one, but it is located on either side low in the rear...I can round up a picture, is best I can help.

Here you can see fume switch factory installed:

This may help you too:

Thanks for the reply and the info. I did find those pics when i searched out some information. Through those pics I've been able to get the general location. I also understand it needs to go somewhere in the firebox. When I approximate that location on my stove, it's in an area not easily accessible from the inside the stove, so I wanted to make sure I had the right spot before drilling a hole.

The DV assembly is a Keystoker unit.

Thanks!
Nate

You're Welcome

Keystoker could be called to get best details for what you are wanting to know.
They are very helpful.

Good idea....I called Keystoker and they said the hole is 21" from the front face of the stove and 16" up from the bottom. I would still like to know get a confirmation on that from another owner if that's possible.

Thanks!
Nate
