It Works Real Well! :yes:

There are quite a few Coal Vac threads on the forum showing different adaptations of a shop vac(s) and some pvc pipe to move coal to the stove hopper.

My flavor has a 2" pvc pipe in the bottom of the bin that runs ~10' to a 12 gallon barrel above the hopper that catches the coal as it drops from the air stream created by the shop vac.

Is that dusty,or does the dust go into the vac filter?

No dust. I use a drywall dust bag in the shop vac, Qtown has a water filter set up on his that I am going to experiment with on my next upgrade.
