Hot Air Coal Stoker Stove: Hitzer Model 710
Coal Size/Type: Rice

Hey Guys
I appreciate all the info found on this site, so i value your opinions and comments.

I've been running my Hitzer 710 stoker furnace for 4 years now and god honest truth.. i have issues with parts breaking EVERY YEAR.

To be fare, its not the furnace itself, but the supplied HVAC parts.

- the supplied air pressure switch breaks every year
- the power vent motor has been replaced 3 times already. (yes, i grease the motor as suggested)

I want to know if you guys with Hitzer products are facing the same amount of faults in the parts??

Those parts are not unique to Hitzer, they are used widely with other stoker stoves.
Everybody is a big fan of PV , till they get where/what you are seeing.
This PV gear is not designed for any coal service.period..
Stove stack pipe or masonry chimney will avoid all that drama, repair/replace expense and down broke loss of heat time.
