I'm wondering why the system didn't shut down on the thermal safety switch that should be in the flue?

I'm guess this is the switch for the power vent if it looses draft or pressurizes the box. That is installed in the fire box as per LL. directions.

If that is wrong it can be moved.

Good fine, I think we might be able to make that low voltage option work if we can find a 110v relay that will turn off with the low voltage not on. I guess the opposite of what a furnace relay would do.
