Anyone have a nice setup? I think this is the week/year that I finally start sucking combustion air from outside

Here is how I did mine. I drilled the outside wall which is 12 inch block. I drilled into the block exposing the inner webbing. Here I attached 2.5" dust collection hoses and fittings sourced from http://www.rockler.com/dust-collection
I bring the cold air in the top of the block from the rim joist and use the block as a chase. I also used a blast gate to adjust the air shutter setting for the proper draft on the combustion blower.

2001 Sierra that is a great post thanks so much! I am going to order everything you did. That looks like a 2.5" dust boot and the "metal blast gate" they carry. I am hooking a dryer vent thing outside and that isn't 2.5" so I will have to make or get an adapter to that (which I think is 4"). Looks like maybe you riveted that boot on to the blower?
I did a search prior to posting and didn't find examples with my stove. I did cold air intake on my last stove that was totally different.

The tapered adapter on the blower is held in place with some really good 2 sided tape 3m I think.
