fan thermostat install

Its all wired.......except for thermostat.... newer ones are electronic..SUCKS! Looking for a mercury bulb coil spring style. Easy PeeZeee. Anticipator adjust and its done. Bought a honeywell CT87K...electronic, battery powered worked somewhat ...... air temp to thermo setting was about 08* Off. So returning it for a new one. if ts same will shop internet for older bulb version.

Keep in mind that thermostats are designed to be installed about 5ft off the ground and away from drafts.

In the pic your thermostat is near the floor and directly below a window. I am not surprised if you are getting odd results.

Is there some reason you didn't install it in the conventional method?

That's a relay box under window... thermostat is mounted on wall in other section of area that stoves fan will blow heat towards. last picture shows where thermostats monted... wall in other room.
