Hot Air Coal Stoker Stove: Alaska stoker 2

Post by Mattw205 » Tue. Nov. 14, 2017 2:06 pm

I’ve been reading that not only do I need a stack draft reading but also an “over the fire” draft reading. I have an Alaska stoker 2. How do I get the reading over the fire? Do I drill a hole in the stove itself somewhere?

I'm not sure if you "need" to get an over the fire reading, but until you know more (get a better answer than I can give you) I wouldn't be in a hurry to drill a hole in the stove just yet.

If you needed it that bad I think they would have put a hole in for it.
