This will be my second year using my keystoker 90 to heat. The stove is about 5 or 6 years old, I bought it used from someone. I wanted to go over the whole stove and get it cleaned out before firing it, however we had a cold snap and I had to burn it friday. I plan on shutting it back down since the weather is supposed to get mild again.
What all should I do to properly clean it and get it ready for a new season.

a lot of good threads on here for "Spring Maintenance" for your stove, they should be cleaned and maintained every spring shutdown or when you have time inbetween burning.

Do you recommend wire brushing the entire inside of the stove?

I use a wire grill brush on mine every year. I put a shop vac hose in through the ash door to catch most of the dust while brushing the walls.

The best you can with a wire brush or putty knife to get all the loose stuff off. Shop vac is handy to keep the dust down. it will clog very quickly due to the fine ash dust.
some people will coat it with a rust preventative (LPS3) or put a light bulb in it to keep it dry and moisture from making it rust faster.

Ultra lazy CN here with the Keystoker 90 top vent. In the spring I brush it out and empty all coal and ashes. Invert the ash bin and place a 200w tractor sump heater in it and just pay the little extra in the electric bill. 9 years and counting. I do the back end stuff as per usual.
